This is, perhaps, the one piece of writing I am not even sure how to start.

Hello! As some of you may or may not know, I’m Alex, one of the editors for The Paw Print. I would like to properly introduce myself, as you may have only read the stories I’ve written but not know much about me as a person.

I’m currently a sophomore in college, and this is my last semester here at LCCC. I love writing (what a surprise) and reading books about anything and everything. So, if you catch me with my iPad out, I’m either playing games or writing unfinished projects.

When I was met with the opportunity of being an editor for “The Paw Print,” I was thrilled. After a very nice interview with Professor Heimann, she deduced that I would be a good fit for the position, so here we are.

Thanks to her and the journalism class, I realized I wanted to do writing as a career, so I am very grateful for the turn of events.

For any writers out there who wish to try out new things, but are afraid to do so for x or y reason, you’re not alone. Go ahead and do that thing you’re afraid of, you never know where it may lead you.
