The Perfect Summer Day in the Lehigh Valley

There is something about summer in the Lehigh Valley that just feels special. The days last a little longer, the weather finally cooperates, and if you know where to look, there is always something to do. The perfect summer day doesn’t have to be packed with plans; just make the most of what is around you. 

For me, the day can’t be perfect if it doesn’t start with a coffee. So my first suggestion is to find your favorite coffee or breakfast shop to start your day right. Places like Bitty & Beau's Coffee and Nowhere Coffee Co. are great for an easy start to your morning. 

Once the afternoon rolls around, it’s time to actually do something. If you are a fan of thrills and excitement, maybe try out Dorney Park or see an IronPigs game at Coca-Cola Park. And even if you aren’t a fan of baseball, sit back and enjoy the famous food at the ballpark.

As the afternoon turns to evening, my mind heads to dessert. And Ice cream is the only answer. Luckily for us, the Lehigh Valley is filled with fantastic sweet treats to end your day. 

In the end, the perfect day in the Lehigh Valley isn’t about complicated plans and stressful time management. It is about enjoying the moment, getting outside, and making the most of what’s in front of you.
