The Joys Of Being A Pet Owner
Jessica Frank | Writer
Almost everyone loves animals, especially when those animals just so happen to be your pets. From the very moment they’re brought into your home, your entire world is devoted to them. Your pet becomes a part of your family.
I have two cats, an older one named Jack and a younger one named Midnight. Jack is an old domestic short-haired cat with a heart of gold and a very calm demeanor. Don’t let his age fool you though; he’s still quite limber, and there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for treats!
Midnight, on the other hand, is a different case. She is a loving cat; however, because she wasn’t raised with other cats, she can be more feral. There are times when she even brings her soft mouse toys with her wherever she goes and carries them in her mouth. Both cats are loving in their ways, even if they no longer like each other’s presence.
They say an animal acts as they are raised, which couldn’t be more true! After all, much like how humans are different, no two animals are exactly alike. Some may be calm, and others can be absolutely nuts. Which begs the question: Do you have any pets? What are your thoughts on animals? What’s your favorite animal?
