Taylor Swift's Era Tour Is Finally Here
Charlotte Parsons | Writer
Taylor Swift has recently started her tour,” The Eras Tour.” Encompassing all of her “eras” which are her debut, “Fearless”, “Speak Now”, “Red”, “1989”, “Lover”, “Folklore”, and “ Evermore” albums, as well as her rerecorded albums. of “Fearless” and “Red.” There has been a lot of hype around the tour, and so many people, including myself, tried to get tickets that are now being resold for ridiculous amounts.
Getting the tickets was the difficult part. I tried to become a verified fan through TicketMaster to get early access. However, I was sadly turned down. But that did not stop me from wanting to buy those tickets. Unfortunately, the tickets were completely sold out, which caused TicketMaster to completely cancel their public sale.
Honestly, I was heartbroken because I have been a fan of Taylor since the beginning of 2006, during her debut “era.” In 2006, when I was four I remember getting the self titled album on CD for Christmas and instantly fell in love.
Then, in 2011, when I was 9, I went to my first concert, the “Speak Now” tour, and again in 2018 for the “Reputation” tour. Also, my first tattoo is the lyrics “Long live all the magic we made” from the song “Long Live” off of the “Speak Now,” album.
So this is a big deal for me. I’m still holding out hope to get tickets to one of her three concerts in Philadelphia, PA. Wish me luck!
