College students can save substantial amounts of money throughout college by using their student email at certain websites and stores.
Companies like Apple, Amazon, Nike, and many more provide benefits to students. Apple provides student pricing for their technologies, while you can also get six months of Amazon Prime for free as a student, followed by reduced rates of 50% for up to four years.
Nike, alongside Adidas, Levi’s, and ASOS also provide student discounts that can help save substantial amounts.
The majority of these deals can be accessed through a website called UNiDAYS, which is a platform where users verify they are a student and subsequently gain access to 100+ discounts and promotions to benefit students.
A standout discount is through Spotify, where the price of premium is discounted to $7.99 a month including Hulu (with ads). Hulu with ads for non-students is $9.99 a month, while Spotify is now up to $12 a month for their premium subscription. This student deal saves $14 a month, or $168 a year.
On the creative side, Adobe gives a 60% discount to all students on their Creative Cloud Suite, which includes Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and more.
For hungry students, they can get 1,000 Chipotle rewards points towards a free entree alongside 20% more points gained per order.
“I actually never knew about all the college student discounts I could get into,” said general education major Sully Kutish. “I might need to look into what websites those could go on.”
Companies provide many ways to save money as a student, as these companies know tuition can be expensive. For more information on student discounts students can go to myunidays.com or studentbeans.com.
