Remembrance, a Short Film Come to Life

I had the pleasure of attending the premiere of Remembrance, a short film made by local production company HUZZAH Entertainment. It was a great experience, and I am so thrilled that I was able to attend.
This film delves into dealing with the death of a loved one and the guilt that it can cause. I was lucky enough to be a production assistant on the film and had a wonderful time filming it, and seeing the magic happen in person.
Remembrance is filled with talented actors, and is directed by HUZZAH Entertainment’s founder, Aidan McKee, an LCCC and Kutztow alum.
The premiere took place at Kutztown University on March 1st. It offered a chance to meet many of the actors and crew members, as well as get their autographs on posters that were available at the premiere.
There was also a Q&A at the end where viewers could ask McKee, as well as the other writers and lead crew members anything. We got to hear about how the idea was formed, and the process of writing the script with several writers.
During the premiere we were also treated to seeing the short film The Ikarians, written and directed by Kutztown student Andrew Darlak, as well as several incredible music videos by BIG R3D, who can be found on Spotify and YouTube.
Remembrance has been accepted into The Greater Lehigh Valley Filmmaker’s Festival and will be available to the public for the first time on March 22nd.
HUZZAH Entertainment is a great company to check out, especially for any LCCC film majors. Anyone interested in acting should keep an eye out on one of their social media sites for casting calls for the next film. HUZZAH has as of yet not released what the next project will be, but one thing is for sure, it will be a wonderful experience, so stay tuned.
