Memories To Remember

Remember the sound of the television being on first thing in the morning, with some news or cartoon playing? Maybe the smell of coffee or breakfast as a family member gets ready for their day.
All childhoods come to an end, but our memories remain. Although some may fade over time, they are a part of who we have become in the present. Our younger days may bring us joy or sadness, but they should never be forgotten entirely.
Some people would rather grow up quickly, determined to make paths for themselves in the world, while others cling to the warmth and comfort of knowing their guardian will protect and guide them.
What has changed? Who are you now compared to the year before, or the five before that? Is it for the better or worse? Are you who you want to be, or is your journey still long?
When we take a moment to breathe and reflect on our experiences, it may open our eyes to the reality and feelings of nostalgia. Reminding us of what really matters now and what will in the future.
Take a moment to reflect. You have come so far, and there is still much time to go even further. As the world continues to change, you will change with it. It does not have to be a scary thought. Change can be good, within yourself, and around you.
