Letter From the Editor
Healley Saltz | Editor
I took Journalism last semester on a whim. I knew I loved to write, but felt I had been neglecting this passion. I am a second year psychology major at LCCC, so I am no stranger to methodical writing, yet I wanted something more. I appreciate a well-crafted inverted pyramid as much as the next writer, but nothing beats letting the words flow out of your pen, or your fingers in this case because who writes on paper anymore.
I love any writing where without ever meeting the author, you know their voice. So as you can guess, I am drawn to the columns and blog posts.
This is only one reason why I am thrilled to be a Paw Print Editor. I am an early college student from Parkland High School, where I was an editor for the Yearbook. This sparked my love for editing others’ work as well as writing my own.
I cannot wait to see what this semester has in store. Good luck to all you writers, and remember to let your voice shine in your columns, blogs, and future pieces! No one writes like you.
