Letter from the Editor

Nathan Johnson | Editor

Hello all,

As I soon depart from LCCC and move onto the next stage in my life, I can say with confidence that the paw print was one of the best endeavors I have taken up to this day.

Since I first took journalism I have gained such an appreciation for the field, and all the work that goes into making a newspaper worth reading. Becoming an editor for the Paw Print this semester has been an experience that I am learning a lot from, and I know I will be implementing what I learn from this into my life for decades to come.

I am beyond thankful for this opportunity, and I would like to thank the journalism class for putting out strong pieces that I can edit and post for all to see. I would also like to thank Professor Heimann for teaching and giving me the skills to edit and write stronger than ever.

If I could share any advice, I would say that there is no time better than now to explore. Wether it is going to a club for the first time, taking a shot on an elective course, or meeting new people , college is the place to try new things. It is an opportunity where you get out what you put into it, so be sure not to take it for granted.

Thank you all for reading, and I hope you stay for semesters to come.
