On October 22, 2025, LCCC hosted an open house in the Community Services Center targeted to community members looking to broaden their educational horizons.
Vice President of Enrollment Management Dr. Cindy Haney says the event is “open to all in the community” including traditional college first-year students, adult learners, and those interested in non-credit programs.
Haney stated that the open house is geared toward “anybody that wants to learn.”
The open house is held in both the fall and spring semesters showcasing both LCCC's academic and trade programs. The event includes tours and tables for club involvement and previews of academic programs offered by the college.
“We offer that here to those that want to take a pathway to an associate's degree and a bachelor's degree. We have plenty of transfer agreements with local colleges and universities,” Haney said.
The event showcases LCCC's goal of helping the community expand their education while supporting student's plans beyond LCCC, whichever path that may be.
Further, Haney says she is most excited to showcase the “beautiful [main] campus” as well as satellite campuses including the Morgan Center in Tamaqua, the Donley Center in Allentown, and also LCCC's aviation program at the Lehigh Valley International Airport.
The college motto is, “Start here. Go anywhere.” This open house is surely an avenue for students to go anywhere with their newfound skills and education.
