Hello, Students! It’s very pleasant that we have finally entered the fall season. When you think of fall, what comes to mind? Off the top of my head, I think about the change from heat to sweater weather, pumpkins, and a delicious cup of apple cider. A season best spent with family and friends or cozying up in the comfort of a blanket.

For me, this change in season has recently been marked by a change in friendships. Through the LCCC art club, I found friendship with a fellow student. Simultaneously, I grew close with a coworker of mine. So, as the leaves began to fall, it hit me that I should introduce my two new friends to each other. After all, what better way to celebrate this season of connection than by bringing others together?

The three of us ventured to a coffee shop on the west end of Allentown called Nowhere Coffee Co., where an open mic night happened to be taking place. There, we watched in awe as the public spoke on their artwork, music, poetry and stories. This was truly the perfect way to kick off my fall.

Not only does this coffee shop host events for creative minds, but it’s also an inclusive safe space. The establishment is LGBTQ+ friendly, the bathrooms are all-gendered, and the space is aesthetically pleasing.

This inviting space is perfect for embracing the change of season and nurturing new friendships. As we transition into fall, it’s essential to take care of ourselves and build connections. So, if you’re looking for a cozy spot to unwind with friends and enjoy a delightful cup of coffee, consider visiting Nowhere Coffee Co.
