Fall Fun: Pumpkin Patch Edition
Kaley Martin | writer
Seiple Farms, located in Bath, Pennsylvania, is officially open for the Fall season! Everyone is invited to make memories while enjoying the variety of activities the farm provides.
Walking in, I marveled at everything around me. Lights from the carnival rides, the smell of apple cider, laughter from other guests, and the warm air around us made for the perfect autumn day.
Each year Seiple Farms creates a new design in their 20-acre cornfield. Guests are welcome to walk through their intricate paths and participate in a scavenger hunt consisting of 16 marks. While searching, I was greeted by other families and we discussed our progress in the maze, giving each other tips in order to complete it.
After about two hours of wandering the corn maze, I found myself in a massive field with hundreds of pumpkins and gourds to choose from. My boyfriend and I were able to find two large pumpkins for carving while our friends found smaller pumpkins for pumpkin pie.
Once I picked out my soon-to-be jack-o-lantern, the farm provided transportation back to our starting location. The bumpy tractor ride was full of smiling people conversing about their day at the pumpkin patch.
Once we arrived back at the entrance, we tried the delicious food provided, petted the farm animals, and walked through a few gift shops before ending our day.
Before the seasons end, enjoy a day full of fall fun with your friends and family at Seiples Farm!
