The fall season is in full swing! I’m already in my second year at LCCC, getting closer and closer to what comes next. I am planning to start at Temple University as a transfer student in fall of 2026. It's crazy to think that in less than a year from now, I will be in an entirely different chapter of my life. Focusing on that fact has carried me through the never-ending assignments, not to mention the exams. Reminding myself why I'm doing this is imperative as the semester continues to unfold.

Keeping my goal in mind, while I do my best to stay on top of my day-to-day as a student, gives me the motivation to see it through. I’m excited to be living away from home and hopefully narrow down my career options as I continue finding myself during my journey at Temple. If I didn't have a specific goal in mind, I don't think I would be doing nearly as well with my classes and extracurricular involvements. When the struggle seems to be overwhelming, or not worth it, I refocus on the fact that in less than a year from now it will all be worth it!

I advise that all students do the same. Steel your resolve as we enter finals season! Staying focused on your goal helps with the motivation to get there. Good luck to myself and all those working hard to get to where they want to be.
