Deadpool & Wolverine: The Ultimate Marvel Movie Escape!

With the stress of finals coming up, what we need is a distraction from the anxiety and worries of school. The thing that helps me relax the most is by watching movies, especially one movie in particular, Deadpool & Wolverine! In my opinion this is without a doubt the best movie of the year and the best Marvel movie to come out in quite a while. If you are not up to date on your Marvel movies, I recommend that you watch several others before progressing to Deadpool & Wolverine. You should watch Deadpool 1 & 2, as well as all of the original X-Men movies, especially Logan, as without them many of the references won’t make sense and you will not care about the characters in the same way. All of these movies are amongst my favorites and are completely worth the watch. It also would be beneficial to watch the 1st season of Loki, because several themes which are introduced in Loki are used in Deadpool & Wolverine, but it is not crucial to watch first. After you have caught up to date on Marvel movies, be sure to check out  Deadpool & Wolverine which will be available on Disney+ starting November 12th. 

For those of you who are curious, Wolverine is a fictional character created by Len Wein and John Romita Sr. in 1974, portrayed by actor Hugh Jackman. Deadpool, another fictional character, was created by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza in 1991, and is played by actor Ryan Reynolds. The basic plot surrounds Deadpool suiting-up again to save his earth from being destroyed by teaming up with Wolverine and taking on several villains. The movie introduces several characters that Marvel fans have long awaited on the big screen, while also bringing back many characters who were thought to never return to a Marvel film. Deadpool & Wolverine blends comedy, action, and romance in a way I find absolutely delightful.

Deadpool & Wolverine is highly rated, with a 78% on the Tomatometer and 94% on the Popcommeter, and is Disney's highest-grossing R-rated film ever. If you need a break from school stress, kick back, relax, and enjoy Deadpool & Wolverine!
