Cedar Crest College welcomed students and community members to its annual Spring Fest on April 11, turning the campus into a lively space filled with music, food, and creative activities. The event ran from 1 to 4 p.m. and gave students a chance to relax, enjoy the warm weather, and connect with campus clubs and local vendors.

Spring Fest featured a variety of activities, including a station where students could customize their own shorts. Many students gathered around the tables to design clothing that reflected their personalities, turning the activity into one of the most popular attractions of the afternoon.

Local vendors also lined the walkway, selling handmade jewelry, artwork, and crafts.

Emily Nunez, a Cedar Crest student and first-time vendor, said the event helped her share her work with a wider audience.

“It’s my first year vending, and I really enjoy being able to get my work out there,” Nunez said. “Events like this help small creators reach people they normally wouldn’t.”

Food trucks added to the excitement, offering pizza, tacos, ice cream, and other snacks that kept the crowd energized. For many attendees, the atmosphere was the highlight of the day.

Breonna Allah, a Cedar Crest student, said the college always makes an effort to create a welcoming environment.

“I love the atmosphere here,” she said. “Cedar Crest makes sure students feel included and have fun, especially when we get nice weather like this.”

Spring Fest showed how campus events can bring students together and support local creators at the same time. With hands-on activities, food, and community involvement, the event gave students a break from their routines and a chance to enjoy the start of spring.
