As midterms end, we realize that we’re now halfway through the semester. Which means winter break is approaching. Unfortunately, it also means finals are on the horizon.

We all want to do well on our final to pass our classes. Even though I’ve been doing well in my classes, I’m still anxious about finals. Failing could mean having to redo that class. However, there are ways to reduce stress. Getting enough sleep instead of cramming all night and studying a bit each day can help.

When I took my midterm, I was stressed and nervous. I had to write a report and didn’t know what topic to choose. But I pressed on and decided to write about the hurricanes that struck Florida. I turned it in and passed, which brought me relief because of the hard work I put into it.

We still have some time before finals, so we shouldn’t panic. However, we should keep their approach in mind so that when we turn them in, we feel relief instead of worry.
