The Campus Christian Fellowship (CCF) at LCCC provides a space for students to connect, grow
in their faith, and support each other. Every Wednesday at 3 p.m., the group meets in the
Student Union’s SGA room to study the Bible, discuss relevant topics, and fellowship with each
other.
Graycee Kovalchick, President of the CCF, reflected on her first semester, recalling how it was a
time of personal growth.
“My most memorable experience was coming here my first semester, talking about what I was
going through, and getting insight from other college students about what the Bible says. It was
amazing to learn about what they were going through, too,” she said.
Summer Hammack, Vice President of the CCF, shared that the group has become close-knit,
especially as they discuss topics like depression and anxiety—issues that often go unspoken.
“We all became so close, talking about things that people don’t necessarily talk about, and
seeing what the Bible says about them,” she said.
Looking forward, Kovalchick expressed her hopes for the group.
“What I hope to accomplish is the Lord's will during this semester, and letting Him speak
through this club,” she said. It’s been such a blessing to see how many people come here.”
Virginia Hertzog, the group's advisor, emphasized the commitment of the students.
“I am so thankful to be a part of Campus Christian Fellowship,” she said. "It's a testament to
their faith to see how well this group comes together to lead Bible studies and engage in
thoughtful discussions, with genuine love and concern for each person who walks through the
doors.”
The group is also planning to attend a fall conference in October that will unite over 20 colleges
for discussions on Christianity.
All students are welcome to join the fellowship at any time. For more information, contact
