Christian Club Illuminates LCCC Campus with Faith and Fellowship

Caroline Sweeney | Writer

Campus Christian Fellowship at LCCC fosters a sense of community and spiritual growth among students. With its doors open wide, it creates a welcoming space for individuals from diverse backgrounds to come together, share their faith journeys, and engage in meaningful discussions. As the club gains traction, students find support, encouragement, and a shared commitment to their Christian faith within the campus community.

Everyone is welcome to join the weekly meetings every Wednesday from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Student Government Association (SGA) Room, located on the lower level of the student union.

“We try to get everyone involved in our bible study. Everyone gets to read a verse, answer questions, or ask questions” said Maddie Newman, student leader of Campus Christian Fellowship.

Rhian Romain, Vice President of the Campus Christian Fellowship agrees that this is a place welcome to all regardless of religious affiliation.

While the club is newly formed, it’s already making an impact on campus.

Students share how this club has positively influenced their college experience.

“It made it better, to meet like-minded people and talk to them and converse,” said Connor Sandt, a mechanical engineering technology student.

As Campus Christian Fellowship gains momentum; it represents a growing movement of students supporting each other in their own faiths. With its inclusive approach, the Christian club is set to become an integral part of LCCC’s diverse campus life, leaving an enduring impact on students seeking connection and spiritual fulfillment.
